Your Bed and Breakfast was very beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay in the Lighthouse Room. Your family made our Honeymoon extra special with the addition of the lovely floral arrangement. Once again Thank You so much for making our stay enjoyable. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Elsasser Shamokin, Pa.

May 2004 Diary of a room and a vacation. Jon and I rented the Bird House Room. Its big airy, decorated very tastefully. Comfortable clean and private. If you like pretty quilts and hand crafted art you will feel at home in this room. The room has a private balcony comfortably arranged with lovely out door furniture. The shower has a new extendable, removable hand held shower massager to awaken you to a fresh new day or to wash away the cares of the day. Staying at Georgia's and Reids is extremely different from a hotel experience. This couple are very sweet people wishing to make your stay with them comfortable. The coffee pot is always ready. Reid or one of his son's cooks a big country breakfast around our diet needs. In the evening you can wander out to the quaint old fashion country kitchen and brew a fresh cup of herb tea. And if you need through the night you can raid the refrigerator that you left your restaurant dinner left overs in and warm them up in the microwave. You can eat your snack in the kitchen or carry it out to another kitchen table and sit in the sun room enclosed with windows on 3 sides of the room. Then sit back in one of the easy chairs and watch TV if you can choice from one of the many, many TV channels. Or you can wander back to your room and watch TV. This place is near to some of the best eating places around. You will want to get a hot apple dumpling with Ice cream at Massers . The country style cooking will more than fill you up. They make real chicken pan pies and PA Dutch Chicken pot pies and Chicken gravy with waffles and the French fries are cut small and thin and are wonderful. The OIP O Italian Pizza has home made bread for the sandwiches and know how to make egg plant. Staying with the Beagle family was like going home. A home away from home. The Beagles also have a store below the quest house that you can stock up on goodies or get last minute items you may need. Another family member also has a really neat gem stone business on the ground floor. You are also very safe in this home. The quest house is on the second floor and the main door can be locked at night. If you love flea markets their is a big one around the corner on Saturdays and Sundays just behind Massers Restaurant. The county side of Central PA is very pretty . Be ready for surprises we seen white tail deer and my Joh seem a red fox. We rambled around country roads seen wonderful old barns with old tile silo's and covered bridges. We drove under an old stone rail road bed one a lane road through Irish Valley and came home feeling full and refreshed. And hoping to return again. Joh and I stayed at many Bed and Breakfast and this is one of the most comfortable places we have stayed. Be ready for Reids wonderful sense of humor. Thank you Reid and Georgia
