| JANUARY 2026 |
ENCOURAGEMENT FROM GODS WORD We think of January and we think of hope for a New Year ahead. A future we have not seen yet. God helps us day by day as we face new challenges ahead. Jeremiah 29:11 - I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and hope. God wants his best for us. We need to let him lead and guide our lives. 2026 will bring us great times and challenges. Learn to draw closer to him. JANUARY EVENTS Every Sunday Morning is our Sunday School Hour from 9:00-10:00. Morning service is from 10:00-11:00. Come study Proverbs with us. January 28th is a special Gideon speaker Dale Lahr will show the ministry of the Gideons. |
| FEBRUARY 2026 |
When we think about Valentine's day, we think about two words. Love and heart. Usually ,this refers to human love. A wonderful thing God has allowed us to share. God also uses the same words in relationships with our relationship with God. John 13:34 . A new commandment I give unto you that you love one another.Just as I have loved you, also love one another. God reached out to man and showed his great love to us all by giving us his son to be our saviour. That was a sacrificial love giving his best to us. We in return love the Lord by giving us our best in service for him . This includes reaching out to those around us to show his love to others. The heart plays a big part in Valentines day. We give our heart to someone we love. This also applies to God. Jeremiah 29:13 says,You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. On a human level, we spend time with the one we love. We look forward to being with them. This is also our relationship with God. We are to seek Him,to find Him. We do it with our heart. Give him time each day and long to be with him in his word. Upcoming Events Sunday School 9:00 - 9:50 Church 10:00 - 11:00 On February 8th we are having a special Valentine's day service. Come out and join us that day. If you need prayer or have any concerns please contact us. |

| MAY 2026 |
| Hard to believe we are in May already. One of our favorite months as the weather gets warmer and more sunlight.
Did you know, May is noted for three things? First: It's called National Smile Month. Proverbs 5:30 - A cheerful look brings joy to our hearts and good news makes good health. So greetothers with a smile. Second - May's birthstone is Emerald(Green). Green, in the Bible, reminds of several things. 1 - Spiritual Growth. GOD does not want us to be content with the simple milk of the Word but mature daily in our faith. 2 - Strong faith in GOD. How important it is to put your whole life in GOD's hands and trust him completely. 3 - Of course Mother's. Proverbs 31: 25 - 26 She is clothed in GOD's strength and dignity. She can laugh at things to come, and opens her mouth with Godly wisdom. Faithfully instructing her children. Whether your mother is a live or has died, we still have great memories of our past. She has taught us to be strong and honest, two great Godly qualities. She is not afraid of the future because God holds our futures in His hands. She is a teacher to her children by words and actions. What does she teach? Godly wisdon to build their life on and daily faithful following GOD. So spend time with your mother this Mother's Day, even if she is no longer there. Take time to reflect back and be greatful for her influence in your life. We will have a special Mother's Day Service on May 10th at 10AM. Please fell free to come. On May 23rd a Mens Breakfast will be held at the Rush Baptist Church. It starts with a great breakfast at 7:30AM. A time of felloeship in GOD's Word. Pastor Mark from Paxinos Church is our speaker. All men are welcome. Breakdast is free of charge. |

| Happy Birthday to the Rush Baptist Church on our 250th Birthday. I must say none of you look a day over 240! You're looking good for your age. Scripture: Phillipians 3:20, Jesus said, while we are on earth pray for and care for your country, but remember our ultimate home isHeaven. How can we help America? Praying daily for our leadership, living daily for GOD and commtting our lives to Him. Look for opportunities to serve your local community. Pastor"s thoughts on Freedom and Patriotism Galations 5:1 It is through Christ we have been set free. So stand firm and do not let yourself be burdened again wth sin. In 1776- America declared from England to seek religious freedom. As a believer we have declared freedom from sin and Satan. We have Independence because we have Christ in our heart. Psalms 33:12 Bllessed is the nation who belongs to GOD. The people He has chosen for His heritage. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit isthere is freedom.
